The Holiday Village in the heart of Historic Jefferson Street is a festive gathering that captures the holiday spirit. Stalls adorned with twinkling lights offer an array of crafts & seasonal treats, while the sound of caroling fills the air, inviting families to join the celebration.

Nashville MLK Day
The Martin Luther King Day celebration hosted by the Interdenominational Ministers Fellowship (IMF), is one of the nation’s largest and longest running events in honor of Dr. King. Our Week of Events concludes with our Youth Rally, Commemorative March down Historic Jefferson Street, and Annual Convocation.

For Black History Month, Urbaanite partnered with MOJO MKTG + PR to support local Black-owned businesses on one of Nashville’s oldest corridors for shopping, entertainment and culture – Historic Jefferson Street.

The Black Steeplechase Experience
Join us for an unforgettable day at the 84th Running of Iroquois Steeplechase. This is a Nashville tradition of derby-style horse racing. Presented by The Equity Alliance, Black at Steeplechase brings Black opulence, joy, and community to this outdoor, upscale affair for adults.
Experience the elegance of Steeplechase with us! Limited seating available, so secure your tickets today for an exclusive day of catered cuisine, libations, swag gifts, and supporting Tennessee's largest Black-led nonpartisan nonprofit.
Attire: Embrace the spirit with Sundresses and Seersucker or make a statement with Big Hats & Bowties.
Our Tent opens at 12:00 pm, but you're welcome to arrive at your leisure throughout the event. Please ensure you have your wristband, which can be picked up at The Equity Alliance office before the event!
